There's a snake repellent?
"Snake-Away". Available at the local Hardware store.
Yeah, just sprinkle it around the perimiter of your yard and it keeps the snakes In.

RE: BRING IT ON HANNA!!!!!

So far so good here in Florence. Very little wind and the rain is mild. It is puddling up some. We are 65 miles west of Myrtle Beach so I think we will have some medium winds and a couple inches of rain.
Just waiting to see wich way Ike goes.

RE: 2007 damon daybreak 3070 ?

I have an 06 3272. It has been very reliable. I have had a couple issues, all handled under waranty. They use top brand components. Dometic, Carrier, Tetford,
mines on the Ford chassi with GoodYear tires. Toshiba and Panasonic TV's. You get a lot for the money.
Ford had to replace the cruise control, under waranty. My dealer had to make adjustments to the outside compartment doors. A good dealer is important.
The hydraulic jacks failed and the motor ( jacks) was replaced, again under waranty.
Mine has been very good to me and would recomend them.

RE: New Barn for the Motorhome

Also, don't forget you'll have to back up out of the barn 130 ft. This could be a challenge for some people. I have a gate just barely big enough to drive thru, but I have room to turn around in the back yard. If I didn't I would hate to see what my MH would look like.

We like Damon's, on the deck over looking the ocean. Not cheap, but the food is very good. For a burger we go to Fudruckers.

RE: I-5 Dump Station Needed - S from San Fran

The McDonalds at Santa Nella has a free dumb behind it's outside bathrooms by the truck parking. It is just off the 5. If you are going over Pacheco Pass it's just a short drive. Take the 33 nrth to Santa Nella and you can catch the freeway right there.

RE: San Francisco Campground

On the LA part of your trip, we like to stay at the Rincon Parkway down by Ventura. You park parallal to the ocean 5 ft from the rocks. Reel close to the ocean. 50 ft or so. It is first come first serve.
Good for on your way to Disney. Maybe 2 hour drive.
There is a RV Park on Harbor that has new management.
Anaheim Village
We were at Anaheim Harbor earlier in the year and it look very nice
Anaheim Harbor
This one is OK, just a parking lot with hook ups, very clean
Orange Land
This one gets good reviews
Anaheim Resort
This one also gets good reviews.

RE: San Francisco Campground

Are you going soon? The campgrounds below SF on hwy 1 are very popular and hard to get into without reservations. Pacifica, Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz and SeaCliff.
There are a couple parks just sth of SF. One at CandleStick. Also one further south off 101, Maybe Redwood city area.
Also San Mateo County Memorial Park above RedWood City is very nice. Maybe a 45 minute drive into SF. It's above Pescadero and a short drive to hwy 1.

RE: RV INSURANCE

I have progressive. It was offered to me under the name of RV America Ins??
It is designed for MotorHomes. I pay around $700.00. It includes new replacement for the first 2 years. Paid value after that. Includes coverage on the contents and 'Trip" insurence incase you can't finish your trip. I haven't had to use it yet but it seems to get some good reviews on the forum.
